Reziq Banihani #isRed

Reziq Banihani has been officially announced as the newest import player for the Red Giants ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 Malaysian League.

Born in 2002, Reziq is a Jordanian national player who has played with the under-16, under-17, under-19 and recently under-23 squads at the 2024 Asian Cup. On top of that, he is also well known among his peers as captain of the national youth squad.

Reziq's achievement with his birth country's club is also impressive; he played six matches in the 2023/2024 AFC Champions League Group B stage for Al-Faisaly SC, scoring two goals and assisting two others. In addition, Reziq's two goals in the JFA Shield 2023 tournament have helped Al-Faisaly SC lift the trophy for the 9th time which is also his first trophy with the club.

Among his other achievements, Reziq was crowned as the Top Scorer in the under-17 and 19-year-old league in Jordan in 2017-2018. In addition, he was also the Best Player and won the Donsti Cup tournament in Spain with the Jordan Knights in his teenage years.

Currently, he is the top scorer in Jordanian Pro League with 9 goals.

With his presence at the Red Giants, he intends to strengthen the team.

"This is my first time in Malaysia. Although I am still young, I hope that the experience I have can strengthen the team to face the Super League 2023/24 and to fight in ACL 2 2024. Therefore, I will give everything not to disappoint them," Harapan Reziq, a young import player from new Selangor FC.

Selangor FC welcomes Reziq Banihani. Hopefully he can increase the strength of the Red Giants forward line for the Malaysian League season 2024/25 and the ACL 2 competition 2024. Welcome, Reziq!
